Three generations strong, Bendre Caterers & Hospitality — helmed by Sandeep Bendre and his sons Soumil and Atharva — continues to grow with evolving trends while staying rooted in tradition and heartfelt hospitality.
Sandeep Bendre & Swati Bendre
Sandeep Bendre’s journey began in his school days, managing the Patankar Boarding House and serving 400 home-style meals daily. From simple menus to long lines for homemade loni, his love for food and community was evident early on. His first independent milestone — preparing 3.5 lakh modaks — aired on national TV in 2004 and marked the beginning of his solo entrepreneurial path. Over the years, he has led the expansion into iconic venues like Dnyaneshwar, Santosh Hall, and Avismara Hospitality, redefining wedding experiences across generations.
Swati Bendre, a passionate educator and former Hindi teacher, made a bold leap from the classroom to the family business. Her discipline, warmth, and unmatched organizational skills brought structure and heart to the growing operations. Together, Sandeep and Swati form the perfect partnership — blending tradition and innovation, with a shared vision to create memorable celebrations rooted in love, food, and family.
Soumil Bendre
Soumil Bendre is a third-generation entrepreneur at Bendre Caterers & Hospitality, a legacy hospitality brand established in 1972. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from AISSMS, Pune, and completed a prestigious one-year Management Trainee program at Fairmont Singapore.
Soumil joined the family business full-time in 2014, initially managing operations at Sangam Hospitality. With his keen eye for detail and passion for hospitality, he now leads Avismara Hospitality, driving its growth as a premium events destination. Under his leadership, Avismara has become known for its elegant venues, curated experiences, and personalized service, continuing the Bendre tradition of excellence in every celebration.
Atharva Bendre
Atharva Bendre is a third-generation entrepreneur at Bendre Caterers & Hospitality and a graduate of the prestigious IHM Mumbai (Dadar Catering College). With a Bachelor’s in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, he brings modern culinary insights and refined hospitality to the family legacy.
Since joining full-time in 2022, Atharva has led Sangam Hall & Hospitality and outdoor catering with a hands-on, guest-first approach. His experience at Masque Restaurant and internship at Sheraton Grand (Marriott Group) sharpened his skills and vision. Blending tradition with fresh energy, Atharva is shaping celebrations for a new generation.
